ALEXANDRIA: William A. “Bill” Clabaugh, 49 of Alexandria died suddenly on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at his residence.
Bill was born on July 8, 1969 in Elwood, Indiana and was the son of Jerry and Peggy (Paskell) Clabaugh. He was a graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School. On July 23, 2004 he married Sharon (Pauly) Clabaugh who survives.
Bill was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor at the Cardinal Point Apartments, Anderson.
He was a member of the Church of St. Mary’s, Alexandria and SIRA Racing.
Bill had an infectious smile that always brought joy and happiness to his family and friends. Bill loved to spend time with his family and playing the drums. He was an avid go cart racer, and was always a crowd favorite at the Alexandria Grand Prix.
Bill leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Sharon; his mother, Peggy Clabaugh;, his sons, Zack (Mercedes) Clabaugh, Trevor Clabaugh, Timothy Huhn; his brother, David (April) Clabaugh, his sisters; Julie (Mike) Phelps, Cathy Morgan and Debbie Clabaugh; his grandson, Kyle Huhn; his special friend, George DiRuzza.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Aug. 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Church of St. Mary’s, 820 W Madison, Alexandria with Fr. Dan Duff as Celebrant. A private family graveside service will follow. Friends may call at the Church of St. Mary’s one hour prior to the Mass on Friday.
