Terry Metcalf

Terry Eugene Metcalf, 73 of Hampton, VA and formerly of Alexandria died Oct. 7th 2021, after extended illness.

He was born in Anderson on Aug. 27, 1948 and was the son Weldon and Mary Metcalf.
Terry served his country during the Vietnam War with the United States Army.

While still in Alexandria Terry was employed at Johns Manville. However, 2012 he retired for NASA-Lockheed Martin located the at the Kennedy Space Center.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Ty Metcalf, and Dorinda “Dori” (Robert) Schwartz; his sisters, Vickie (Charlie) Wise and Peggy Woolridge. Also surviving are six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a great-granddaughter, Isabella Mae Rustav.

A graveside committal service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021 at Noon in Park View Cemetery, Alexandria with Bud Whetsel officiating.

Whetsel Funeral Service, Park Ave. Chapel, Alexandria has been entrusted with the service arrangements for Terry.
