Susan Knuckles

Susan Margot Knuckles, 62 of Alexandria died on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at her residence after a brief illness.

She was born in Anderson, Indiana on September 15, 1960, and was the daughter of David and Carol (Humphries) Flynn, Sr. On April 1, 1989, she married Alan Knuckles.

She was a member of American Legion Aux., Port 53 of Elwood, IN. where she served as treasurer.

Susan loved to travel, especially to the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee. She loved spending time with her family and loving her grandkids.

Left to carry on her legacy of love is her husband of 34 years, Alan Knuckles, her daughters, Samantha Knuckles, Kayla Knuckles, and Stephanie Knuckles; her grandchildren, Keegan, Kiera and Ford; her brothers, David Flynn, Jr. and Michael Flynn; and her sister, Jennifer (Jerry) Shinabarger.

She preceded in death by her parents, David and Carol Flynn and a brother, Mark A Flynn.

A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Whetsel Funeral Service, Park Ave. Chapel, Alexandria. Cremation will follow.

Memorial gifts can be made to the Knuckles family in care of the funeral home.
