Steven Paul Brown

Steven Paul Brown, 73 of Alexandria died on Friday, September 20, 2024, after sudden illness, while vacationing in Benton, KY.

Steve was born on July 21, 1951, and was the son of Quitman P. and Hilda M. (Jones) Brown. On February 20, 2017 he married Mary Ann (Lucus) Brown.

He retired from General Motors-Ft. Wayne Truck Plant, where he was a member of the UAW.

Steve was an avid fisherman, he enjoyed his trips to the Benton, KY area for many fishing trips and where he made a host of friends.

He was a loving and caring dad and grandfather and loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his children, Wade Brown, and daughter, Rachael (David) Hamilton, John (Tammy) Martin, Wayne (Helen) Iteen, Roger Iteen and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife- Mary Ann (Lucas) Brown, daughter-Rose McDunna.

As per Steve’s request, cremation was chosen and private family services will be held later at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville, Indiana.
