Sabrina Lynn Pierce, 61 of Anderson was called home to her Lord and Savior after a brief illness in St. Vincent’s Hospital, Indianapolis.
Sabrina was born on Mar. 20, 1958 in Anderson and was the daughter of John A Hagerman, Sr. and Patsy A (Widener) Hilligoss. On May 17, 1985 she married Richard Pierce who preceded her death on Feb. 22, 2013. Sabrina was employed in the Quality Control Dept. for the Keihn Corporation, Greenfield.
She was a faithful member of the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, Anderson where she taught Sunday School for many years. Sabrina enjoyed fishing, boating, horseback riding and gardening. She enjoyed going to the White River Club and spending time with her family and going to Christian concerts. But one of her greatest passions was worshiping her Savior Jesus Christ with her church family.
Left to carry on her legacy of love are children, Jason and Joshua Pierce, Tina Hensley; brothers, John (Vickie) Hagerman, Ted Reeves; sisters, Belinda Trahan, Lydia Hollins, Hope Boner, Pam Trent and Amy Pierce. Also surviving are grandchildren, Courtney Hensely, James Steger III, Jacob Pierce, Hayden Pierce, Mallory Pierce, Skyler Pierce, Karsin Pierce, Abagail Pierce, Jessica Pierce and Caide Pierce; her great-grandchildren, Alaina Dashler, Anthony Dashler and Addisyn Steger.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, her parents and a grandchild, Christina Steger.
A Celebration of Sabrina’s life will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, 815 E School St., Anderson, IN 460012 with Revs. Matt Boldiszar and Gary Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson. Friends are invited to call at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the requests memorials are made to Glad Tidings Assembly of God, 815 E School St., Anderson, IN 46012 or in care of the funeral home.
