Patrick D. Cramer, 36, of Kansas City, KS, and former Alexandria resident, passed away on December 8, 2023, at his residence. Born in Alexandria, Patrick was a proud graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School. He dedicated a significant part of his life to the United States Army, where he served honorably in South Korea.
Beyond his military service, Patrick was a captivating actor, leaving an indelible mark on the stage. His talent illuminated the Mainstage Theater, Muncie Civic Theater, and Chicago’s Hale’s Theater. Patrick's passion for the arts was a testament to his vibrant spirit and creativity.
A devoted member of the Alexandria First Baptist Church, Patrick actively participated in the music ministry and was a proud member of the VFW. His commitment to community and country reflected his deep sense of duty and love for those around him.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved mother, Lucinda Cramer, his brothers Matthew Brian (Amanda) Cramer and Michael (Amanda Reed) Cramer, and his sisters Michelle Cramer, Jaime Cramer, and Laura Cramer. Patrick is also survived by several nieces and nephews who will carry his legacy forward.
A memorial service to celebrate Patrick's life will be held on January 15, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the Alexandria First Baptist Church, 2107 S. Park Ave., Alexandria, IN 46001. Reverend Michael Deutsch will officiate the service, followed by burial at IOOF Cemetery, Alexandria, with military honors bestowed by the United States Army and Elwood VFW Post 5872. Visitation will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
