Nicholas Thompson

Nicholas Shane “Nick” Thompson, 36 died Tuesday, August 04, 2015 in the Indiana University Hospital, Indianapolis after an extended illness.
Nick was born in Myrtle Beach, SC on Sept. 20, 1978 and was the son of Stephen and Imogene (Bybee) Thompson. He was employed as a window tinter at Auto Outfitters of Anderson.
Nick was an outdoorsman; he loved spending time with his family and working on his truck.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Brittany Miller, father, Stephen (Deborah) Thompson, mother, Imogene Thompson, maternal grandmother, Hannah Bybee, Brothers, Stephen (Shelly Murphy) Thompson, Jr., Tony (Denna) Thompson, nephews and nieces, Zachary Thompson, Grayson Scott, Tadessa Thompson, Nikki Thompson, Alana Thompson, Danna Falls, Shaelyn Falls, special cousin, Robert Thompson, Step-brothers, Sam, John, Rick, Step-sisters, Kris, Kate, Meta, his fiance, Leslie Horseman and her children, Brooklynn and Caleb Horseman. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service to celebrate Nick’s life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. in Whetsel Funeral Service, 1503 S. Park Ave., Alexandria with Rev. Bud Whetsel officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
