Marty Eli Phelps, 51, of Alexandria was called home by his Lord and Savior on Friday, May 31, 2019 in Community Hospital, Anderson after a brief illness.
Marty was born in Anderson, IN on Aug. 21, 1967 and was the son of Eli and Artie Vee (Branum) Phelps-Kayse. On June 19, 2010 he married Kelly (Divens) Phelps.
Marty was employed as a diesel mechanic at R&L Carriers, Alexandria. He was an ordained minister of the Gospel and had served for a three year term as Pastor of the New Beginnings Church in Indianapolis.

Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
