Mark Rhodes

Mark A. Rhodes, 53 of rural Alexandria died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2023, in IU Health/Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis after a brief illness.

Mark was born in Jonesboro, AR and was the son of Freman and Beverly Suzon (Hart) Rhodes. After his high school graduation, he graduated from the Nashville Automotive Diesel College, earning an associate degree. He married Chandi (Scott) Rhodes on June 22, 2007.

He was employed by Chrysler Corporation-Kokomo as a machinery repair technician.

Mark was an avid fisherman. He always enjoyed fishing at Dale Hollow Lake and Mississinewa Reservoir. He loved watching his two daughters playing softball, watching NASCAR and working on old cars. Mark was a loving and caring husband and Dad who always loved spending time with his family.

Left to carry on his legacy of love is his wife Chandi, his daughters, Marlaina Rhodes, Gabbey Rhodes and Jacey Rhodes; his brothers, Rodney (Lisa) Rhodes and Tracey (Amanda) Rhodes. Also surviving are two special friends, Dave Smith and Mark Combs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Freman and Suzon Rhodes.

Private family services will be later at the convenience of the family.
