Mark Anderson

DUNKIRK: Mark Anderson, 56 a former Dunkirk resident, and more recently of Mt. Pleasant, PA died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014 in the University of Pittsburg Medical Center in Pittsburg, PA. after an extended illness.
Mark was born in Portland, IN on January 15, 1958 and was the son of Lloyd D. Anderson and Anna Mae Clark. He attended Jay Co. High School.
Mark was employed by Indiana Glass Co. and then was employed by L.E. Smith Glass Co. of Mt. Pleasant, PA.
Mark is survived by a son, Nathaniel Anderson of Montpelier, a sister Lori Bender of Uniondale, a brother, Clark (Mary) Anderson of Redkey, step-sister, Dara (Gene) Veazey of Lakeland, FL., sister-in-law, Toni Anderson of Albany, his stepmother, Annabelle Anderson of Daleville. Also surviving are special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd D. Anderson and Anna Mae Collins, a brother, Chris Anderson and brother-in-law, Robert Bender.
A celebration of Mark’s life will be held on Friday at 11:00 am in Walker-Glancy Funeral Home, Montpelier with Pastor Hugh Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the funeral on Thursday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
