Larry E. Sigler, 74 of Alexandria died Thursday, October 16, 2014 in Community Hospital, Anderson after a brief illness.
Larry was born in Elwood, IN on March 11, 1940 and was the son of William M and Ruth (Arehart) Sigler. On Feb. 14, 1991 he married Katherine (Vandevender ) Sigler.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the United States Navy. Larry Had been employed at John Mansville, U.S. Leisure and B&R Cleaning,
Survivors include his wife Katherine, three sons, Larry E. Sigler, Jr. of Anderson, Terry R. (Dianna) Sigler of Orestes, Michael S. (Karen) Sigler of Elwood, two step-sons, James Patrick and Richard Patrick both of New Mexico, step-daughters, Cynthiana A. Cornwell of Michigan, Leloa C. Roach of Anderson, a sister, Marlene Smith of Marshall, IL., sisters-in-law, Nancy Sayre and Janie Addison both of Alexandria and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Shawn Sigler and William E Sigler, Jr.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Whetsel Funeral Service, Alexandria with Rev. Harrison Williams officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
