Larry A Rude

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Larry A. Rude, who left this world peacefully on November 25, 2024, at the age of 87. Born on November 13, 1937, in Marion, Indiana, Larry spent most of his life in Middletown, where he built a legacy of hard work and kindness.Larry was a dedicated production worker at General Motors Corp., where he poured his heart into his job, earning the respect of his colleagues. 

His wisdom and experience were evident in every interaction. He was a man of few words but deep integrity.Larry's passion was bowling, where he met the love of his life, and he was a member of the Muncie Eagles No. 231. Larry was also a member of the Son's of the American Legion Post 127. 

He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Melissa Giles, son-in-law Robb Giles, and his cherished granddaughters, Jamie Porter and Jessie (Tony) Norton-Garza. Larry’s family was his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them.Larry will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his unwavering spirit and love for his family.

 Larry was preceded in death by his wife Carole Rude, and his parents, Vergil and Anna Rude and his son Garry Rude.
