Larry McDaniel

: Larry E. McDaniel, 75 of Winchester and formerly of Alexandria died on Friday, Mar. 27, 2020 in the Pine Knoll Rehabilitation Center, Winchester.
Larry was born in Alexandria on Jan. 14, 1945 and was the son of William R. and Etta (Bogue) McDaniel. On July 11, 1965 he married Esther E (Van Note) McDaniel.
He was retired from Overmyer Mold Co., Winchester.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years, Esther McDaniel, his children, Eddie (Kelli) McDaniel, Karen (Joey) Addison, Karla (Bruce) Munday; his brothers, Robert A. McDaniel and William H McDaniel and his sister Rita (Max) Stump. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Amanda (Joaquin) Combs, Chris Addison, Garry (Katie Sherland) Munday, Cody (Charity) McDaniel, Micah (Katie Wells) McDaniel and Tyler Munday and nine great-grandchildren.
His was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Ronnie E McDaniel; sisters, Christiana Garner, Rebecca McDaniel; a brother, Danny McDaniel.
A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020 in Whetsel Funeral Service, Alexandria at 2:00 p.m. Friends may call an hour prior to the service on Saturday.
