Kenneth E. Lambertson

Kenneth Eugene Lambertson, 77 of Alexandria passed away Wednesday November 20 from a sudden illness. He was born in Elwood, IN. on October 20, 1947 to Floyd and Nellie Lambertson. Kenneth Has lived in Alexandria his entire life. He married the love of his life, Amy (Lehman) Lambertson on September 4, 1970.

 He graduated from Alexandria/Monroe High School in 1966. Kenneth served in Vietnam with the 173rd Airborne Brigade from 1966 - 1969 and also received a Purple Heart award.

 He retired from the Alexandria Police Department after 21 years of service.

Survivors include his wife Amy, daughter Annette ( Jimmy) Ellis of Alexandria, son Nathan ( Ellen) Lambertson of Indianapolis. Kenneth also was very proud of his grandchildren Mason (Cierra) Ellis of Anderson, Logan Ellis of Alexandria and Zachary and Kristyn Lambertson of Indianapolis. As well as his great-grandchildren: Scarlett, Madilynn, Luna and Soleil.

To honor Kenneth's wishes, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
