Kenneth W.(Red) Hinton, 92 of Anderson formally of Alexandria. Died March 31, 2014 in Miller’s Merry Manor, Chesterfield after an extended illness.
Kenneth was born in Summitville on July 6, 1921 and was the son of Martin and Elizabeth (Morris) Hinton.
Kenneth was a veteran of WWII serving with the United States Army.
Kenneth owned and operated a local gas station in Alexandria for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the Church of St. Marys in Alexandria.
Kenneth is survived by a sister, Thelma Wright, Brother and Sister-in-laws, Jack and Charlene Fisher and Bill and Mary Lou Hunter. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Patricia and a sister, Helen Johnson.
At Kenneth's request a private interment was held in Vinson Memorial Park Cemetery, Summitville . A memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
