Karen Francis (Bentley) Beason, 51 of Alexandria died Saturday, March 10, 2018 in Community Hospital, Anderson after an extended illness.
Karen was born in Noblesville, IN on Oct. 15, 1966 and was the daughter of Willard and Marilyn (Cook) Bentley.
She enjoyed writing poetry and loved country music and dancing and chicken nuggets.
Left to cherish her memory is her companion, Rob Crum, her children, Kristin (Paul) Pratt, Alexis Crum, Jami (Mitch) Ward, Casie (Terry) Racquet, Richard (Britney) Goodwin, Isaiah Crum, David Beason and Michael Cassie) Goodwin, her brothers, Johnny Bentley, Mike Bentley, Willie Bentley, Jerry Bentley, James Bentley, Jason Bentley, Thomas Bentley and Carl Bentley; her sisters, Pam Brown, Robin Collins and Cindy Coverdale. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, David Bentley, two sisters, Jane Leeper and Katie White.
A Service of Remembrance of Karen’s life will be Tuesday, Mar. 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in Whetsel Funeral Service, 1503 S Park Ave., Alexandria. Cremation will follow the service. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
