Joy Moulton

Joy L Moulton, 63 of Alexandria/Orestes died June 12, 2018 after a sudden illness at her residence.

Joy was born on Sept. 17, 1954 in Anderson and was the daughter of Samuel and Nannie (Eden) Reed. She was a graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School and Apex School of Cosmetology. On Aug. 31, 1979 she married Joe D. Moulton.

Joy was a self-employed beautician for over 20years and for seven years she coached the Alexandria-Monroe High School Bowling Team.

Joy was avid bowler, participating in numerus local, state and national championship tournaments though out the years.

She is survived by her husband, Joe D. Moulton, her son, Andy (Rebecca) Moulton, a brother, Donnie Reed and her grandchildren, Samantha, Kyle and Alexa Moulton.

A memorial service to celebrate Joy’s life will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in Whetsel Funeral Service, Alexandria. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Indiana Chapter 9075 N Meridian St., Suite 150, Indiana polis, IN 46260 or in care of the funeral home.
