Jeffrey Walker

Jeffrey Wayne Walker, 50 of Anderson went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 30, 2020 in Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Anderson after a brief illness.

Jeff was born in Anderson, IN on March 7, 1970 and was the son of Larry Walker and Terren (Hollingworth) Somers. He attended Alexandria-Monroe High School.

Jeff was a man of faith; he cherished his relationship with his Lord and Master always. Jeff loved his family and especially his grandchildren.

He was a member of the Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, Anderson. He was formerly employed at Irrigation Unlimited and Landscaping Service in Alexandria.

He was an avid sports fan; especially cheering for the Indiana Hoosiers and the Indianapolis Colts.

Left to carry on his legacy of love is his wife, Roberta (Gross) Walker, his children, Destiny Walker, Jacob Walker, Heather Horn, Lucas Kennedy and Matthew (Erin) Kennedy; his father and step-mother, Larry and Carol Walker; his brothers, Vaughn (Connie) Walker and Brian (Sondra) Walker; his step siblings, Jay (Dana) Jerrils, Veva (Rory) Royston, Cozette Heller and Troy (Valarie) Jerrils.

He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Jim and Terren Somers.

A service to celebrate Jeff’s life will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, 2604 N. Scatterfield Rd., Anderson, with Rev. Matt Boldiszar officiating. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Bud & Susan Whetsel are honored to care for dear friend Jeff and the Walker family.
