Frances Ann Farlee, 53 of Alexandria died Thursday June 14, 2012 in Indiana University Hospital, Indianapolis after an extended illness.

Ann was born in Cleveland, OH on Sept. 17, 1958 and was the daughter of Charles R and Frances M (Haws) Miller. On April 2, 1977 she married John S. Farlee.

Ann was a loving Mother and Grandmother who spend her life caring for her family and home.

She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy, Anderson.

Left to cherish Ann’s memory is her Husband of 35 years, John S. Farlee, her Son, LCPL John B. Farlee serving in the United States Marine Corp., two Daughters, Cara (Jonathan) Mort of Elwood and Elisha Turner of Alexandria. One Brother, Roy A Miller of Spencer, IN, one Sister, Mary L. Miller-Clements of Kenton, OH. Also surviving are eight Grandchildren, Cameron, Fallyn, Cheyann, Collyn, Kadynce, Terren, Brylen and Ayden. And a host of special family and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in Whetsel Funeral Service, Alexandria with Bro. Charles Barker and Sister Faye Barnes officiating. Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery, Alexandria. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 707 Historic W. 8th St., Anderson, IN 46016 or in care of the funeral home.
