Eleanor E Williams, 93 of Alexandria went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 3, 2018 in the company of her loving family at the home of her daughter in Amboy, IN.
She was born in Elkins, WV on Dec. 9, 1924 and was the daughter of Ivan and Bernice (Phares) Hostettler. On Dec. 9, 1943 she married Glenn Geiling, she later married Billy Williams on Aug. 8, 1973 both preceded her in death.
Eleanor retired from General Motors in May of 1991 after 16 years of service.
She had been a been a member of the Alexandria Eagles Lodge Aries 1771 Ladies Auxiliary.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed play cards, fishing, camping, and doing small crafts.
She is survived by her children, Bill (Connie) Geiling, Bob (Cindy) Geiling, Margaret Capps, Step- daughters, Julie (Jim) Teague and Lisa (Kent) Harvey. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Matthew (Brenda), Andrew, RG (Samantha), Kristen (John), Stephanie (JR), step-grandchildren, Brad, Mark, Carla, Ann, Katina, Jackie, Jennifer and Brittany. Seven great-grandchildren and one on the way and Five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Glenn, her second husband, Billy, a brother, Bud Hostettler, a grandson, Jason Geiling and son-in-law, Coy Capps.
Eleanor’s life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, she is loved beyond words and will be missed beyond all measure.
Funeral services for Eleanor will be on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in Whetsel Funeral Service, 1503 Park Ave., Alexandria, Indiana with Rev. Pete White officiating. Burial will follow in IOOF Cemetery, Alexandria. Friends are invited to call at the funeral on Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
