May 30, 1958 — September 12, 2016

: Duane C. Lamberjack, 58 of Alexandria died Monday, Sept. 12, 2016 at his residence after an extended illness.
Duane was born in Fostoria, OH on May 30, 1958 and was the son of Robert C. and Fannie R. (Allen ) Lamberjack. He was a graduate of Alexandria-Monroe High School and Ball State University. Having earned a degree in marketing from Ball State University in 1981, he returned to Ball State ten years later, getting another degree with a double major in art and graphic design.
Duane was proud that he earned his living doing what he loved. He was the owner of three business, Lamberjack Promotional Products, The Message Carrier, and Art Rescue. His art and design work is reflected in businesses and homes throughout the state. Ceramics were a hobby since high school, and over the years he produced hundreds of beautiful art pieces, for consignment, and cherished gifts for family and friends. His parents were especially proud of Duane’s talent, and would always make a point of showing his work to visiting friends and relatives.
He was a member of the Church of St. Mary’s, Alexandria
Duane was friendly, and funny, which made him a huge hit with his nieces and nephews, all of whom adored him, and he never missed an opportunity to brag about them. He was a caring person, and had helped many people struggling with substance abuse problems recover to live healthy productive lives, remaining deeply devoted to him to the end.
Left to cherish his memory are his brothers, William (Linda) Lamberjack of Fishers, Frank (Wendy) Lamberjack of Alexandria, Michael (Carol) Lamberjack of West Chester, PA, his sister-in-law, Cynthia Lamberjack of Zionsville. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Duane was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Stephen Lamberjack and Randolph Lamberjack
