Donald Fisher

Donald Paul "Donnie" Fisher,76 of Belton, Tx and former Alexandria resident died on August 31,2021, after an extended illness.
Donnie was born in Anderson, IN on September 26,1945 and was the son of Edmund V. and Lois A Fisher. He was raised and lived in Indiana most of his life and where he met and married his wife Patty.
Donnie served with the United States Army and was a honorably discharged in 1972. After his military service he began his career with Rockwool Corporation, then later in 1978 was transferred to Texas where he remained until his retirement on December 31, 2010.
Donnie was an avid fisherman and enjoyed camping, fixing up old vehicles and building many things, he also enjoyed watching the old classics.
He was a loving husband, father and brother, leaving to cherish his memory his wife Patty, four daughters, Nanette Gail (Jeff) Pelletier, Laura Ann Fisher, Tina Paulette Fisher, Barbara Jo (Fisher) Hollaway, brother William Fisher. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edmund and Lois Fisher, brother, Joseph Fisher, sister, Barbara Sigler, daughter, Jennifer Lynn Cummins, and granddaughter Rachel Matamoras.
Donnie will be laid to rest by his parents in Park View Cemetery, Alexandria, IN, on Monday November 8, 2021 at 11 am.
