Diana Marie West, 71 of Alexandria died Tuesday, December 02, 2014 in Community Hospital after an extended illness.
Diana was born in Indianapolis, IN on March 8, 1943 and was the daughter of Boyd and Elizabeth (Hogan) Elliott.
She was retired from Edgewater Woods Nursing Care, Anderson where she was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years.
Diana is survived by her daughter, Jackie (Ron) Wade of Anderson, two sons, James (Susan) West of Jeffersonville and Don (Shelly) West of Georgia. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Patrick Wade, Elizabeth Wade, Jacob Wade, Rachel West, Debra West, Christopher West, DJ West, Elizabeth West and Emily West.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the St. Martin Cemetery, Martinsville, IN with Bud Whetsel officiating. Friends are invited to call at Whetsel Funeral Service, Alexandria on Friday, Dec. 5, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
