David E. Morris, 66 of Alexandria died on Friday, Sept. 17, 2021, in Ascension St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital, Anderson after a sudden illness.
David was born in Anderson on May 24, 1955 and was the son Jerry L and Dovie Jane (Stelter) Morris.
He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church of Anderson and the Greater Indianapolis Deaf Club.
He enjoyed watching NASCAR and Sprint car racing. His hobby was creating things with plastic canvas.
Surviving is his father, Jerry L Morris, four sons, Bruce Morris, Adam Morris, Matthew Morris and Blaine Fisher; and a daughter, Holly Morris; his brother, IlIff Morris and sisters, Amy Simon, Sherri Caldwell, Lisa (Dannie) Morton and Lori (Scott) Guilkey. Also surviving is his special friend, Kathleen Arnold and six grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Whetsel Funeral Service, Park Ave. Chapel, 1503 S Park Ave., Alexandria.
