David Jones

: David R. Jones, Jr. 46 of Alexandria died Monday, March 2, 2015 in IU/Ball Health Services, Muncie, IN after an extended illness.
David was born on Sept. 4, 1968 in Ft. Riley, KS and was the son of the late David R. Jones and Carolyn S. (Little) Keegan. He graduated from Alexandria-Monroe High School. He as employed at Harvest Market in Alexandria.
David was a member of Eagles Lodge Aries 1771, Alexandria. He enjoyed fishing especially with his son, Steven and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR.
Survivors include his mother, Carolyn S. (Danny Johnson) Keegan, his children, Katherine Powless, Cheyanne N. Jones and Steven Jones. Also surviving is a special niece, Macie D. Jones.
He was preceded in death by his father, David R. Jones, his stepfather, Leo Keegan, two brothers, Steven Jones, Michael Walters.
A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, March 6, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Whetsel Funeral Service, 1503 S. Park Ave., Alexandria, IN. Cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are made to National Kidney Foundation, 911 E 86th St., Indianapolis, IN 46240 or in care of the funeral home.
