Danny Thomas Long, 67 passed away on July 14, 2016 following an extended illness.
He was born on March 11, 1949 and was the son of Joy Jay and Iva (Hysong) Long.
Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Iva Long, brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Brenda Long, and his sister, Janice Jackson. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joy Jay Long, two sisters, Joyce Benedict and Carolyn Leach.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Park View Cemetery, Alexandria with Bud Whetsel officiating.
Service arrangements have been entrusted to Whetsel Funeral Service of Alexandria.
