Crystal M. Castor, 102 of West Palm Beach, FL and a former Alexandria resident died Sunday, December 17, 2017 in the Medicana Nursing Home in Lake Worth, FL after extended illness.
Crystal was born in Madison Co. on July 16, 1915 and was the daughter of Willard and Elsie (Sheley) Thomas. She was married to Suel Castor who preceded her in death in 1975.
She was a switchboard operator for the phone company and later retired from General Motors.
Crystal is survived by two nephews, Thom L. (Marsha) Burden of Annapolis, MD and Tim E. (Marshal) Burden of Anderson
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Suel and a sister Ruby T. Burden in 2003.
A private graveside service at Park View Cemetery will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
