Arlen Buckner

Arlen E. (Buck) Buckner, 88 of Alexandria and former Anderson resident died Saturday, July 30, 2016 in the Alexandria Care Center after extended illness.
Buck was born on May 17, 1928 in Monterey, TN and was the son of William and Liza Jane (Burgess) Buckner.
He was retired after 30 years from Delco Remy of Anderson.
Survivors include his sister, Imogene Kolbe of Lebanon, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Brothers, Benton Bucknes, ST Buckner, General Lee Buckner, Odie Buckner and a sister, Willene Cllemons.
Services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Goff Funeral Home, Monterey, TN with burial to follow in Whittaker Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday two hours prior to the service.
Whetsel Funeral Service, Alexandria has been entrusted with the local arrangements.
