Annamarie E. Ryan, 84 passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at her residence after a sudden illness.
Annamarie was born on Oct. 1, 1938, in Michigan City, IN and was the daughter of Gilford and Muriel (Haskins) Downs. She later married Tom Ryan who preceded her in death.
Annamarie was retired from the Madison County Auditor's Office.
She was a member of the Christian Congregation Church, Christian Congregation Ladies Group, the Red Hat Club, Master Gardeners Club and Ladies Madison Co. 4-H. She also was a Auxiliary Volunteer at Community Hospital in Anderson.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Melissa (Charles) Montgomery and Melinda (Jeff) Brown and her sister, Mary Jane (Ron) Zacharias. Also surviving are five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Tom Ryan.
A celebration of life service is planned for Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Alexandria, 2107 S Park Ave., Alexandria, IN 46001. family members will be sharing memories of Annmarie.
