Jennifer Ost

Jennifer Kay Ost, 30 of Anderson died Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at her residence after a sudden illness.

Jennifer was born in Sharon, PA on Apr. 30, 1992 and was the daughter of Joseph Ost and Sandra (Beeks) Sheets. She was a 2010 graduate of Elwood High School.

Jennifer was a poplar waitress at the Tin Plate Restaurant in Elwood.

Left to cherish Jennifer’s memory are parents, Sandy (John) Sheets and Joe (Helen) Ost; her children, Kylan Johnson, Jayctin Ost, Killian Oliver, Jax Oliver, Kamari Oliver and step-son, Trenton Hopping; a step-brother, Weston Glass; her sister, Jonelle (Dustin) Bausch; step-sisters, Cassie Glass and Megan Sheets. Also surviving are her fiancé’s Aaron Hopping; her maternal grandparent, Sharon Hodge; her paternal grandparents, Jack and Mary Ost. And several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her former partner, Kevin Oliver, Jr., a cousin, Josh Ost, and two great-grandmothers, Pearl Salem and Josephine Russell.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Whetsel Funeral Service, Park Ave Chapel, 1503 S Park Ave., Alexandria, Indiana.

Memorial gifts may be directed to Jennifer’s family through the funeral home.
